Not much is known about the Bryd's Whale or its habits, but it feeds and acts much like a dolphin with quick turns in direction and breaching. It's curious sometimes and will swim very close to boats. It can be found mostly in the Southern seas down to Antarctica, but as far North as Savana, Georgia. Adults grow to a length of 47 feet. Newborn whale calves are from 11 to 13 feet at birth.

This sculpture is a crafted original. Although more than one sculpture of this whale may be made, no two sculptures are exactly alike. Much attention is made with the creation of each whale to maintain accurate scale dimensions.
