Jeff Ganiere has been shaping steel, or carving wood for 6 degades now. He's always looking for that hidden curve or expresive shape to replicate in steel or wood. He works over his anvil and forge, but also uses modern welding equipment  (MIG, TIG, Arch, Brase, Silver solder)  to combine metals. Over the years he has been awarded over 30 patents and the most numerous of his inventions is the "Baggage Slide" seen at every commercial airport bolted onto the service stair on Jetways. In retirement Jeff intends to produce sculptures and models of whales and dolphins on a limited basis.
